What the extension does
UniLife AI-EAPP is a Chrome extension for licensed life insurance agents who work with UniLife. It pre-fills the National Life Group illustration (nationallife.com) and the iGo e-application (igoforms2.ipipeline.com) with the answers the agent typed into the extension's pre-screen form. The licensed agent reviews every answer, then locks, signs and submits the application herself. The extension never locks, signs or submits anything.
What information it handles
- Client details the agent types in: name, date of birth, contact details, address, ID type, employment, income, beneficiaries, health answers, and bank name, routing and account number, and the agent's own agent number and license numbers.
- Client name, state, product and premium sent from the UniLife portal, when the agent clicks "AI-EAPP" on a client in the portal.
Where it is kept
- SSN/ITIN, passport, driver's license and bank account numbers are kept only in Chrome's temporary memory (chrome.storage.session). They are never written to disk and are erased when Chrome closes or the extension restarts.
- The other pre-screen answers and the agent's own details are kept in Chrome's local extension storage on the agent's computer, so the agent doesn't have to type them twice for the same client.
What it sends, and to whom
Nothing to us and nothing to any third party. The extension has no server and sends no data over the network. It only types the agent's own answers into the National Life Group and iGo pages the agent has open, exactly as the agent would by hand. It does not use analytics, tracking or advertising, and it does not sell or share data.
Permissions
- storage: to remember the pre-screen answers on the agent's computer (see above).
- Access to nationallife.com, igoforms2.ipipeline.com and the UniLife portal: only to show the AI-EAPP panel on those pages and fill in the agent's answers there.
The agent stays responsible
AI-EAPP only pre-fills common default answers to save time. The licensed agent must review every section, confirm each answer with the client and correct anything before submitting.
